Ava Weyburn earns spot on University of Mississippi’s Fall 2025 Chancellor’s Honor Roll

Ava Weyburn of Barrington, Illinois, has been named to the University of Mississippi’s Chancellor’s Honor Roll for the Fall 2025 semester. Weyburn is enrolled in the Bachelor of Business Administration program in Professional Sales.

The Chancellor’s Honor Roll is awarded to students who achieve a semester grade point average between 3.75 and 4.00. “We are very proud of the students earning the Chancellor’s Honor Roll designation,” Chancellor Glenn Boyce said. “This recognition reflects their academic excellence and achievements and exemplifies the hard work, commitment and dedication that define our university community.”

To qualify for this honor, students must complete at least 12 graded hours during the semester and not be on academic probation.

The University of Mississippi, also known as Ole Miss, is recognized as the state’s flagship university and is classified among R1: Doctoral Universities – Highest Research Activity by the Carnegie Classification. The university offers 16 academic divisions, including a major medical school and nationally recognized schools in accountancy, law, pharmacy, and an Honors College.
