On Friday, March 6, Aurora Spartans, featuring former Rolling Meadows High School standout Gavin Escobedo, were defeated 84-60 by the CMS Stags in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.

The matchup was held at Mitchell Hall Fieldhouse at 2:20 p.m., marking the team’s first face-off with CMS Stags in the tournament.
