The Vanderbilt Commodores, featuring former Loyola Academy star Aubrey Galvan, prevailed over the Illinois Fighting Illini with a 75-57 victory in the NCAA Tournament on Monday, March 23.
The matchup started at 6 p.m. at Memorial Gymnasium.
Galvan finished the game with 12 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals across 36 minutes on the court.
Vanderbilt is scheduled to play again on Friday, March 27, with tipoff at 1:35 p.m. at Dickies Arena.
