On Friday, March 6, Abby Walsh, previously a standout at Loyola Academy, helped lead her current team, the Bates Bobcats, to a 71-57 victory over the Merchant Marine Mariners in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The contest was held at Alumni Gymnasium at 7:15 p.m. and marked the Bobcats’ first tournament game against the Merchant Marine Mariners.
Bates will play its next game on Saturday, March 7, also at 7:15 p.m. at Alumni Gymnasium.
