A. Illinois Legislative Session Update
Objective: Dan Shomon and Corryn Bradley of Dan Shomon, Inc. will be reviewing the Illinois General Assembly’s 2023 legislative session with a focus on initiatives affecting municipalities.
B. Special Events Marketing Survey and Analysis
Objective: Cultural Arts and Special Events Director Amanda Harris and Create Today consultant Kyle Marinshaw are providing an overview of the cultural arts and special events community survey response, focus group findings and next steps to complete the Cultural Arts and Special Events Strategic Plan.
Initiatives and Other Items
C. Agreement with Layne for Well Motor ($75,892)
Objective: Purchase a well motor in order to have a spare motor available for emergency repairs.
D. Agreement with McCrometer, Inc. for Procurement of Flow Meters ($82,088)
Objective: Purchase water treatment plant flow meters to ensure accurate and efficient use of water and chemicals.
