City of Prospect Heights Fire/Police Commission met Dec. 15.

Here are the minutes provided by the commission:

CALL TO ORDER - At 4:03 PM, Chairman Hoffman called to the Fire Police Commission Special Zoom Meeting. 

Deputy Clerk Schultheis read the preamble to the Meeting 

ROLL CALL - Deputy Clerk Schultheis called roll. A quorum was present 

COMMISSIONERS PRESENT - Chairman Hoffman Commissioners - Riebman, Fiorito 

OTHER OFFICIALS PRESENT - Police Chief Caponigro, Deputy Chief Derman, Deputy Clerk Schultheis 

CLOSED SESSION - 

A. Personnel Matters - At 4:03 PM, Commissioner Riebman moved to go into close session to discuss personnel matters; seconded by Commissioner Fiorito. There was unanimous approval 

ROLL CALL VOTE: 

AYES - Fiorito, Hoffman, Riebman 

NAYS - None 

ABSENT - None 

Motion carried 3-0 

RETURN TO OPEN SESSION - At 4:18 PM, the Commission returned to open session. All commissioners were present. 

NEW BUSINESS 

A. Approval of Officer Lee Redlin from Part-time to Full-time - Chairman Hoffman moved to approve Officer Lee Redlin's move from part-time officer to full-time officer; seconded by Commissioner Riebman. There was unanimous approval 

ROLL CALL VOTE: 

AYES - Fiorito, Hoffman, Riebman 

NAYS - None 

ABSENT - None 

Motion carried 3-0 

PUBLIC COMMENT - None 

The Next Regular Meeting of the Fire Police Commission is scheduled for Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 4 PM, City Hall, 8 North Elmhurst Road, Prospect Heights, IL 60070. 

ADJOURNMENT - At 4:19 PM, Chairman Hoffman moved to Adjourn; seconded by Commissioner Fiorito. There was unanimous approval 

ROLL CALL VOTE: 

AYES - Fiorito, Hoffman, Riebman 

NAYS - None 

ABSENT - None 

Motion carried 3-0
