Wrobel and McConville take Home Weekly Honors Yet Again

42

Judson University Men's Volleyball Players Elijah Wrobel and Noah McConville once again took home weekly honors for their outstanding play. For the third time this season, Elijah Wrobel has taken home NCCAA Player of the Week, and, for the fifth time, Noah McConville has won CCAC Defender of the Week.

Wrobel led Judson with 49 assists and added eight kills and five total blocks last week, while McConville had 18 digs as Judson went 2-0 last week with sweeps against Trinity Christian and Roosevelt. Judson now sits 16-2 on the season (6-0 in CCAC play) as the Eagles have won 15 straight contests.

"These guys are working hard, it's an everyday process," said Head Coach Irick Gardner. "Even better, we have guys behind the scenes, whether they are starters or non-starters, contributing in other ways towards our success."

The Eagles are enjoying an extended period off as the team won't return to play until next Tuesday against St. Xavier at 7:00 p.m.
