Village of Wheeling Board of Fire and Police Commissioners met Oct. 26.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

1. CALL TO ORDER

Vice-Chairman Palicki called to order the Special Meeting of the Wheeling Board of Fire and Police Commissioners at 9:03 a.m.

Deputy Clerk Karen Henneberry called the Roll:

Present: Commissioner Alan Palicki, Commissioner Jon Kolssak, and Commissioner Michael Murphy

Absent: Chairman Michael Moran was absent with prior notice.

2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES

a) Special Meeting of September 11, 2020

Motion by Commissioner Kolssak, second by Commissioner Murphy to approve Minutes as presented.

Final Resolution: Motion approved

Ayes: Commissioners Palicki, Kolssak, and Murphy

Absent: Chairman Moran

3. CITIZEN CONCERNS & COMMENTS - None

4. NEW BUSINESS - None

5. EXECUTIVE SESSION

Vice-Chairman Palicki asked for a Motion to recess into Executive Session for the purposes of discussing:

a) Review of minutes lawfully closed under the Open Meetings Act; and

b) The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of a specific employee(s) of the Village of Wheeling. 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1).

Motion by Commissioner Kolssak, second by Commissioner Murphy

Final Resolution: Motion approved

Ayes: Commissioners Palicki, Kolssak, and Murphy

Absent: Chairman Moran

6. ACTIONS ON MATTERS DISCUSSED IN EXECUTIVE SESSION – NONE

OFFICIAL COMMUNICATIONS - NONE

7. ADJOURNMENT

Motion to adjourn by Commissioner Kolssak, second by Commissioner Murphy. Motion carried by voice vote, all Ayes, the meeting adjourned at 4:20 p.m.
