ARLINGTON HEIGTHS HISTORICAL MUSEUM: All Programs Cancelled and Facilities Closed

Istock 000037773506 medium

Arlington Heights Historical Museum issued the following announcement on March 16.

Effective end of business day today, all programs and facilities are closed until further notice, and will be re-evaluated on March 31.  As this is a fluid situation, we will continue to assess our operations as more information from the CDC and IDPH becomes available.  This includes:

  • Arlington Ridge Center
  • Arlington Lakes Golf Club
  • Nickol Knoll Golf Club and Sunset Meadows Driving Range
  • Heritage Tennis Club
  • Forest View Fitness and Racquet Club
  • Senior Center and all Community Centers
  • The only exception is March 17 Election Day polling at Camelot, Frontier, Heritage and Pioneer.  (FOR VOTING PURPOSES ONLY)
The Park District is taking this precaution keeping the health and safety of our community in mind, and in compliance with President Trump and world health officials who earlier today expressed the importance of minimizing gatherings to less than 10 people.  Stay informed at www.ahpd.org.

Keeping you connected to play online during this time.

Soon, we will be launching a new Plan to Play "Virtually" Every Day page on our website.  The page will contain easy, and fun ways to stay active at home, or outdoors in your own yards.  We will share more information about these activities with you via our social media: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.
