Report: Township High School District 211 spent $18,721 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Township High School District 211 is up 11.5 percent from five years ago, according to a North Cook News analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Cook County school district spent $16,790 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $18,721 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 12265 to 11841.

Township High School District 211's spending in 2017-18 was 40.4 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
