Unpaid fines for Park Ridge-based campaign committees totaled $21,775 in January 2017

Campaign committees in Park Ridge collectively owe a total of $21,775 in overdue fees, records obtained by the North Cook News show.

A detailed review of individual fines revealed that two committees in Park Ridge were delinquent in payment for January 2017.

The Park Ridge-based committee with the largest total in unpaid fines was Re-Elect Eric Leys, which owes a total of $10,900.

The committee has been fined for failure to comply and a late quarterly report.
