a. Consideration of a request from Queen of the Rosary School, located at 690 Elk Grove Blvd., to waive the FY 2017-18 business license fees in the amount of $50.

(The Queen of the Rosary School is respectfully requesting the Business License fee in the amount of $50 to be waived for one vending machine that is located at 690 W. Elk Grove Blvd. (It has been past practice of the Village Board to grant fee waivers for governmental and non-profit organizations. (The Director of Finance recommends approval.)

b. Consideration of a request from the Fraternal Order of Police Elk Grove Village Lodge No. 35, to waive FY 2017-18 business license fees in the amount of $50.

(It has been past practice of the Village Board to grant fee waivers for governmental and non-profit organizations.

(The Director of Finance recommends approval.)

c. Consideration of a request from the Elk Grove Township Community Day Care Center, located at 711 Chelmsford Lane, to waive FY 2017-18 business license fees in the amount of $425.

(It has been past practice of the Village Board to grant fee waivers for governmental and non-profit organizations. (The Director of Finance recommends approval.)

d. Consideration of a request from High School District 214, to waive FY 2017/18 business license fees in the amount of $450.

(It has been past practice of the Village Board to grant fee waivers for governmental and non-profit organizations.

(The Director of Finance recommends approval.)

e. Consideration to award a professional services contract to Sun Park Consulting of Palatine, IL for PC technical support services for the period from May 1, 2017 through April 30, 2018 in an amount not to exceed $66,176.

(The requested amount would provide the Village PC technical support for an average of four days per week during fiscal 2018. (Sun Park Consulting personnel have provided the Village high-quality PC support during the past 18 months. (As in the past, the requested support will only be used and billed on an as-needed basis.

(The Director of Information Technology recommends approval of this contract.)

f. Consideration to award a construction contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder Clean Cut Tree Service Inc. Grayslake, IL for the Ditch Clearing - Tonne Road to Busse Road project in the amount of $335,950.00 from the Water & Sewer Fund.

(On Tuesday, May 9, 2017 the Village opened sealed bids for the Ditch Clearing -Tonne Road to Busse Road project.

(The project consists of 18.9 acres of tree clearing along ditch banks, landscape restoration, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the improvement.

(A total of three (3) contractors obtained contract documents, with three (3) submitting bids on the project.

(The lowest bid was received from Clean Cut Tree Service Inc. of Grayslake, Illinois in the amount of $335,950.00.

(It is recommended that the contract be awarded to Clean Cut Tree Service Inc. of Grayslake, Illinois in the amount of $335,950.00.

(Adequate funds are available in the Water & Sewer Fund.

(The Director of Public Works recommends approval.)
