Daniel Tornheim, architect, applies for major zoning relief to construct a one-story addition to connect a detached garage to a single family residence to create an attached garage, in the R1 Single Family Residential District. The applicant proposes a 2.7’ east interior side yard setback for the existing garage where 5’ is required (Zoning Code Section 6-8-2-8-A-3). The Zoning Board of Appeals is the determining body for this case.
