Elgin bicycle committee establishes 2017 initiatives

The city of Elgin Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee met Jan. 10 to establish 2017 initiatives.

Here is the meeting's agenda, as provided by the committee:

The Elgin Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee promotes access and mobility throughout the community by encouraging the coordinated development of bicycle and pedestrian facilities, programs and activities that will enhance safe access to neighborhood areas, schools, government and cultural institutions, employment and retail activity centers, and parks and recreational areas.
