The third annual “Golf in the Dark” fundraiser will be held Saturday, Aug. 27, at Lake Park Golf Course in Des Plaines, according to www.dpparks.org.
Events begin at 5:30 p.m. with dinner, drinks and a silent auction. The tee-off is at 7:30 p.m., with the raffle and prize giveaways starting at 9:30 p.m.
Cost per individual is $50 for dinner and nine holes of golf. Cost for a foursome is $180, while the dinner-only fee is $25. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Des Plaines Friends of the Parks Youth Scholarship Fund.
The registration form can be downloaded from www.dpparks.org. Completed forms can be faxed to 847-391-5707, dropped off at 2222 Birch St. or mailed to Des Plaines Park District, Glow Golf Event, 2222 Birch St., Des Plaines, IL 60018.
