The City of Park Ridge Zoning Board of Appeals held a regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 26.

The board consists of nine citizen members appointed to four-year terms. The commission hears and reviews all applications for zoning amendments, planned developments, special uses, pre-annexation agreements, subdivisions, site plans and changes in B-4 Commercial Conservation Districts, as well as street alley vacations.

Meetings take place on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month.

THE CITY OF PARK RIDGE will provide reasonable auxiliary aids or services necessary to afford an individual with a disability an equal opportunity to

A. Request to allow for a fence (a flood gate assembly) to be located within the front yard of

the subject property, per section 11.4.E.2.a. (Variance Continuation)

B. Request to allow for a fence of aluminum material and color with rubberized wipers to be

erected on the subject property even though the fence is not an “allowed” material, per

section 11.4.E.6.d. (Variance Continuation)

2. Variance at 1109 S. Broadway Avenue – Case Number: V-16-06 (Minor)

To allow for a rear yard encroachment of four feet, per section 7.3, table 3, into a forty-foot

rear yard setback area for a sunroom to be attached to the rear of the house.
