Arlington Heights Youth Commission to discuss Teen Job Fair tonight

The 2016 Teen Job Fair is the main order of business at the Arlington Heights Youth Commission meeting at 6 p.m. today in the Commissions Room of Arlington Heights Village Hall, 33 S. Arlington Heights Road.

The fourth annual Teen Job Fair will take place 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Saturday in the Hendrickson Room at Arlington Heights Memorial Library, 500 N. Dunton Ave. The commission will review the final details, including the folder and material that will be available to job seekers at the fair. This year's fair will offer a resume and interview workshop,which will be held from 10:30-11:30 a.m. and noon to 1 p.m.

At the previous meeting, the commission requested that the village add the event to its social media pages. The fair has been added to the online calendar at the village website and to the village's Facebook page.

The next Youth Commission meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. on March 9. The commission meets on the second Thursday of every month.
