Goals and objectives are on the agenda for the Park Ridge Youth Services Commission meeting tomorrow evening, Feb. 11.

The commission will meet in the second-floor conference room of City Hall, starting at 6 p.m.

The commission will review and discuss its goals and objectives, which include providing a forum for youth and youth activities, helping coordinate community youth groups and hearing and resolving complaints. The commission makes recommendations to the City Council concerning youth-related topics.

The commission will also hear updates on the Library Loft, which provides a variety of services to middle and high school students. Students can participate in programs, such as the recent Star Wars Night, or receive help with homework. Book lists provide age-appropriate suggestions for students, sorted by genre.

After reviewing the current calendar of events, the commission will address the Administration Report, which will include an updated budget report and review of receipts. After the commission reviews and discusses new business, the meeting will conclude.

The next Youth Services Commission meeting is scheduled for March 10.
