Buffalo Grove Board of Fire and Police Commissioners announces meeting.
The Buffalo Grove Board of Fire and Police Commissioners has scheduled a regular meeting on Dec. 1 at 6 p.m.
The board will meet in the chief conference room at 46 Raupp Blvd. After calling the meeting to order, taking roll and approving the Nov. 3 meeting minutes, the board will move on to the chairman's, commissioners' and chiefs' reports.
The public will be invited to comment and ask questions about the reports and agenda items.
Under old business, the board will discuss the 2016 firefighter and paramedic testing process. It may take action on the item after discussion. It will also discuss and possibly take action on the 2016 police lieutenant promotional process. Following these two items, the board will go over the 2016 board calendar.
New business presented to the board includes discussion on possibly moving the monthly board meeting to the first Monday of each month. The board will also discuss a new polygraph examination provider and vendor. Action may also be taken on this item after the discussion. Firefighter and paramedic candidates will also be discussed under new business.
After new business is completed, the board will retire to an executive session to discuss the firefighter and paramedic candidates and personnel issues. Upon returning to the regular meeting -- if there is no action taken on the executive session items -- the meeting will be adjourned.
