Parkridgecitylogo

The Park Ridge Zoning Board of Appeals is reaching out to the community for volunteers to serve two, 4-year board terms that begin Dec. 1.

Board meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month.

The primary duties of the board are to hear and make decisions on zoning appeals and applications for variances. The board also hears and reports on other matters referred by the mayor and city council.

City residents can apply at www.parkridge.us. Click on "Our Government" and then on the Boards and Commissions Application Form, located on the right side of the page. Hard copies of the application are available in the City Hall lobby.

Applications and resumes, due by Monday, are being accepted by Deputy Clerk Cheryl  Peterson at cpeterso@parkridge.us or by fax at 847-318-5300.

Interviews with the Mayor's Advisory Board will be held on Nov. 2.
